Each poster project / PowerPoint must include:

• Literary topic/period at top center of poster board / PowerPoint
• Definition of topic/period with info about date ranges, and defining characteristics (think – how does someone know they reading something from the period)
• Famous authors and titles (novels/poems/plays/etc.) associated with the period
• Important historical events influencing writing during the period, as well as resulting from writing during the period
• Use of color and many pictures is a requirement
• Presentation of your project is required
• Project must be accompanied by a two page paper explaining the defining characteristics of the literary period
